This rifle is listed by serial number as a National Match in the summary of D.C.M Rifle sales. Fixed front sight, ladder rear sight without the 2,860 yard notch and a fully adjustable Lyman rear peep sight mounted on the right rear of the receiver. The muzzle has a star gauge mark and is marked "S A/flaming bomb/6-23" behind the front sight. The receiver has the standard markings and is lightly marked with a Japanese Kanji. The bright polished bolt is unnumbered and is marked "W L/3" on the top flat at the base of the bolt knob. Mounted on a smooth walnut straight grip stock with finger grooves, two reinforcing bolts, circled "P" proof, a Japanese Kanji carved on the left side of the wrist, sling swivels, "A/44" in white paint on the left side of the buttstock and a checkered steel buttplate with trapdoor (empty). With a model 1921 front sight/muzzle cover and a rear sight cover marked "P.J.O'HARE/SOUTH ORANGE,N.J./MADE IN U.S.A.".

Condition: Fine with 70% faded original parkerized finish with some high edge wear, some scattered scratches and some light surface pitting on the right side of the chamber area, extractor, bolt knob, and Lyman peep sight. The stock is fair with scattered minor scratches, graffiti, dings and a replacement handguard. Mechanically excellent.
