Spencer Civil War Model saddle ring carbine with desirable 22” barrel, no Stabler cutoff device, .52 cal., (56-56), blue and case hardened finish, wood stocks, #49679. This gun is in overall fine condition showingapprox. 97% vivid case colors on receiver, lock plate, hammer, lever and butt plate; barrel shows plum brown patina with scattered areas of light to moderate pitting, bore is overall very good with some spots of erosion; action is crisp; wood stocks are fine with some scattered mars and scratches from storage; butt stock is inspector stamped at the rear top of comb “C.G.O.”. A really nice Civil War era Spencer carbine of whichapprox. 50,000 were produced. Est.: $5,000-$8,000.
