Standard Smith & Wesson barrel markings with "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" on the underside. Cylinder is numbered to the gun and the inside of the frame and crane have matching assembly numbers. Left side of the frame has a "GHS" inspector marking and butt has the U.S. Army model marking and serial number.

Condition: Excellent. The revolver retains 95% plus original blue finish with thinned grip straps and some scattered high edge wear. Hammer and trigger retain most of the original case colors. The grips are very fine with a small missing chip and a few minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
