Condition: Excellent. The revolver retains 95% plus original blue finish with some very minor thinning on the high points and showing only the most delicate collector type handling marks. The hammer retains most of the original case colors which is virtually unheard of with these rare tip-up revolvers.. The frame retains 99% original silver plating which has darkened with age. The grips are also excellent with 99% original varnish showing a few minor dings on the bottoms and overall a few minor handling marks. The barrel hinge screw is slightly marred, otherwise the revolver is nearly immaculate! The markings are clear. The action is fine. The case is excellent with some moderate contact wear.
