Manufactured from 1932 to 1942 with total production estimated at 15,000. This Shotgun has been upgraded from an F Grade in 1971. The shotgun is beautifully engraved by Remington Master Engraver Robert Runge with floral scroll designs on the action, with punch dot background. There is a 2 1/2 inch wedge of floral scroll engraving on the breech end of the top barrel on all 4 sets of barrels and a 1 1/2 inch wedge of the same pattern on the muzzle end of both barrels all 4 barrel sets. In addition each side of the action has a wooded scene panel with a gold relief hunting dog on each side and the bottom of the action has gold relief "Remington/MODEL 32F/4580/Skeet" in a matte background shield. The same design of engraving is on the forearm knuckle, break lever and trigger guard with a hunting dogs head in the center of the trigger guard in an oval with a matte background. The barrels consist of 12, (being the original), 20, 28 and 410 gauge. The 12 gauge is 26 inch in length and the other three are 25 inch. The 410 and 28 gauge at cylinder choke, the 20 at improved cylinder and the 12 improved cylinder/a loose cylinder. All have double ivory bead sights on the matte vent rib, The 12 gauge has 2 3/4 inch chambers and the others 3 inch chambers, all are equipped with ejectors, and all numbered to the gun and are marked on the upper left rear with the gauge. There is a typed letter on Larry Del Grego & Son letterhead, dated October 22, 2003, stating that this shotgun was engraved by Robert Runge in 1971, that the small gauge barrels were made by Larry Del Grego & Son and the new stock and forearm were fitted by them as well. A hand written note at the bottom states that the barrels were also fitted to the shotgun in 1971. Consignor notes state that the wood was done by Fred Wenig. The 4 share the same forearm which is a nicely figured, high gloss walnut, with decorative border. The trigger has a shoe and both are gold plated with scroll engraving on the sides. The trigger is equipped with a selector, tang mounted safety and mounted with a high gloss walnut pistol grip stock with finely checkered flats and fancy bordered checkered wrist, with a plastic Remington grip cap and vented Hawkins recoil pad. Complete in a custom NASCO Aluminum Co., All American Case, aluminum soft lined case, with combination lock.
