Special ordered Winchester Model 1894 rifle, .30-30 caliber, half-round half-octagon barrel, takedown, half magazine, rifle butt, received in the warehouse August 11, 1905 shipped September 12, 1905 to order number25344 with all features confirmed by factory letter which is included. The rifle shows a good quality old refinish however the barrel address has been removed. The left side of the barrel shows nickel steel markings andthe caliber marking is well-defined. The Winchester proofs have been polished and show just a circle. The rear sight is a folding type placed in the original dovetail but of slightly later date. The front sight shows acopper blade and is probably a Lyman in the original front dovetail. The stock has been lightly refinished and has a nice appearance also shows good wood to metal fit. The action is good and the bore is very good. Est.:$750-$1,500.
