Spanish flintlock pistol circa 18th century showing Hallmarked barrel by Bustindui and the lock showing heart Hallmarks and the initials “G.A. B.O.” The pistol measures 16” overall with 9 ½” barrel of .70 caliber smoothbore. The barrelshows good Spanish quality with turned rings and engraving with small areas of gold inlay still intact. The mounts are lightly engraved and the metal shows some cleaning which is aging back to patina with some minor pitting. The stock is ingood condition also showing some light refreshing and minor cleaning. An old wooden ramrod is included and the original belt hook is retained. Spanish flintlock pistols of this era were carried to the Americas in the colonial era and even used in the southwest and early California. Est.: $1500-$3000
