Spaceball's Bill Pullman Boots
Lone Starr (Bill Pullman), is the pure hero in Mel Brook's "Spaceballs" (1987) parody of "Star Wars". Lone was so pure of heart that everything he wore was white, or rather, cream suede right down to his “pirate style” half boots. And that’s exactly what we have for you. Lone Starr’s actual hero screen worn boots. They are in mint condition and come with an assortment of amazing bonus items. These custom made suede boots were designed, by the legendary Oscar winning costume designer Donefeld. Along with the actual boots, this collection includes Donfeld's original design drawing, with his handwritten notes on his official “Donefeld” design paper (with interesting information, including the fact that he put “lifts” on the heels of the boots to make Pullman a little bit more “heroic”!) This rare design draft is covered in a protective plastic sleeve, and then rolled into its own cardboard cylinder. It also comes with a sample from his suede costume for Pullman, so that the boots could be material and color matched. The production notes and labels are from equally legendary costume supervisor Bruce Ericksen. There is also color a “screen shot” color photo of Pullman in a scene at his wedding wearing the full outfit, including the boots. It also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. (The boots are 11” from top to heel and 12” from heel to toe. Donefeld’s hand drawn design draft is 16x11.5. There is a slight tear on the upper left, and some wrinkling on the lower half. Boot storage box shows signs of wear). This is an oversized item so there will be additional shipping charges.
