Back by popular demand is the 2012 version of the “Mountain Mamas” with South Dakota Paradise Outfitters, Wayne and Diane Henderson. Up to four ladies, novice to experienced, outdoors women, will have the opportunity to design their own three-day trip. Possibilities are endless: have sunrise breakfast with eagles at the top of a butte; watch wildlife from the front porch or a permanent stand; learn to shoot anything and everything from a camera to a .22 to a .300 Winchester Magnum, to a handgun; hunt varmints (prairie dogs or coyotes); shopping; sightseeing in the land of Sitting Bull where General George Armstrong Custer camped; or just spend a relaxing afternoon in the hot tub! Perhaps you would enjoy a session with a massage therapist; a glass of wine on the deck; or, evenings around the bonfire – your choice!
This trip may be scheduled for the summer of 2013 – May 1st to September 1st. Mountain Mamas are responsible for the costs of all activities, drinks and hunting licenses, if applicable. All meals are provided, including gourmet dinners at the Lodge. Accommodations are at the Henderson mini-lodge or stay in your own RV.
Previous buyers of this trip recommend driving out to South Dakota. If you wish to fly, the closest airports are Bismark, North Dakota or Rapid City, South Dakota where you will rent a car to drive to the Lodge.
