Smith & Wesson revolving rifle, .320 cal., 16" barrel, with original mottled red gutta percha grips and its original shoulder stock showing rare peep sight, serial #606. The gun shows 95-98% old re-blued finish,starting to drift and tone with some erosion and pitting just starting at the edges of the muzzle and a few scattered areas. The barrel address is sharp and clear, the original and correct front and rear sight are retained. The grips and forend are very good+. The bore is fine to near excellent, the action is working but cylinder does not lock. The butt stock is in good to very good condition with its original butt plateshowing a small chip at the toe. The original peep or tang sight is retained, and collar and sight were re-blued at the same time as the color matches. Est.: $7,000-$14,000
