Smith & Wesson first model 2nd issue, .22 caliber 7-shot revolver, original full silver finish, pearl grips, serial #49899. The revolver shows 50-70% original darkened silver which has turned almost black. Theareas where the silver has lifted on rear of barrel and cylinder show some pinprick pitting. There is some bubbling to the silver. The markings are sharp, the edges crisp, the pearl grips fit impeccably and are the originals. The action is good, interior good. Patent dates visible on cylinder. Completely uncleaned and as-found from an old-time eastern collection. Est: $600 - $1,200
