Manufactured from 1909 - 1923. The Third Model single shot is identified by the trigger guard which is integral with the frame and the trigger centered in the trigger guard. The top of the barrel rib is marked with the two line address/patent dates, caliber marking on the right side and "SMITH & WESSON" on the left side. The left side of the frame is marked with a small S&W trade mark and the serial number is on the front strap. Blade front and adjustable rear sights, blue finish with casehardened hammer and trigger, and fitted with checkered extended walnut grips with S&W medallions.

Condition: Very fine. The pistol retains 95% original blue finish with some muzzle wear and some scattered minor flaking and spotting. There is a small amount of minor pitting on the front strap. Most of the vivid original case colors remain on the trigger and hammer. The grips are good with some scattered minor dents and dings, and moderate checkering wear. The markings remain clear and crisp. The action is excellent.
