Smith & Wesson Second Model Single Shot pistol, .22 cal., 8” barrel, blue finish, extended checkered black hard rubber target grips, #855 (on front of grip strap and release, barrel assembly number is 268 with a “B”. This gun is in overall excellent condition showing approx. 98% original finish, fine bore and action, sharp markings and fine grips with majority of original case colors on the hammer and trigger guard;accompanied by a copy of a factory letter indicating the gun was shipped on February 23, 1907 and delivered to F.E. Rische, no further information as to location; also noted was that the ten inch barrel wasstandard on this Model but there is no breakdown at the factory for the quantity produced with the eight inch barrel. Buyer pays all cost of materials, handling, packing etc. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
