Smith & Wesson Second Model Schofield single action revolver, US marked and inspected, .45 cal., 7” barrel, traces of blue in protected areas of barrel assembly and traces of nickel or silver finish confined primarily to the cylinder, pawl area and straps of the revolver, wood grips with sharp “CW” inspector’s cartouche on the left side of the grip, #4184. This gun is in overall very good condition showing the aforementionedfinishes with balance of gun gone to a grey patina, very good bore; crisp action, sharp markings, very good grips, replaced front sight. This gun should be factory lettered given the unusual finish combination observed as generally, U.S. Schofields are found in fully blued finishes. Est.: $2,500-$5,000.
