Smith & Wesson Registered Model DA revolver, .357 Magnum cal., 6" barrel, blue finish, checkered walnut medallion grips, King red bead front sight on reflector ramp and King white outline rear sight with Smith & Wessongrip adaptors, serial #46986 and Registration No. 523, accompanied by a factory letter and binder with documents confirming all features and indicating shipment from factory on October 9, 1935, to Dwight Brantley, FBISpecial Agent-in-Charge of the Oklahoma City Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The gun is in overall very good to fine condition showing the majority of its blue finish with some holster and high point wear, some minor spots of erosion, sharp markings, crisp action, very good bore, very good grips, star marking on butt strap indicating return to factory, vivid case colors on hammer and trigger, all matchingvisible serial numbers. Accompanying binder also contains copy of Brantley's Sept. 22, 1935 letter on FBI letterhead to D.B. Wesson ordering the Registered Model with an enclosed check for $48.00 (law enforcement
