Manufactured between 1868 to 1875. The top of the barrel rib is marked with the one line address and patent dates and the serial number on the butt and stamped on the inside of the right grip panel. Blade front sight with notched rear sight. Tip up frame with spur trigger and 5-shot fluted cylinder. Blue finish with casehardened hammer and fitted with smooth varnished rosewood grips.

Condition: Very fine. The revolver retains 80% original blue finish, with most of the finish loss on the cylinder, which is a mix of smooth mottled gray patina and blue finish, thinning on the barrel, some minor pitting on the side plate, and minor spotting on the breech end of the barrel. The hammer retains 70% original case colors. The grips are very good with 90% original varnish remaining showing some scattered dings and scratches. The markings are clear. The barrel hinge is tight and the action is excellent.
