Smith & Wesson New Model Russian revolver, .44 S&W cal., nickel plated, wood grips, serial #47322 with factory letter indicating shipped March 24, 1877 to M. W. Robinson, New York NY, record indicated nickel finish,wood grips, with 20 other revolvers. The revolver shows 90-95% original nickel, some slight scratches, minor losses at the edges, just beginning slight age. The trigger guard and hammer show 40-60% case hardening. Thesmall parts and screws show original color, the grips are near fine with just a couple of minor scratches and bruises. The action is crisp, the bore is excellent; the barrel, cylinder and latch show assembly number 37.A fine Russian that shows no cleaning and just slight aging, and is near excellent overall.
