Smith & Wesson New Century “Triple Lock” DA revolver, .44 S&W Special caliber, scare 5” barrel, S/N 2182, nickel finish, checkered wood grips in overall very good to fine condition displaying considerable original finish, crispaction and markings, overall good bore and fine grips. Accompanied by a tooled leather holster and factory letter confirming features and indicating shipment from the factory on May 8, 1909; delivered to J. R. Harrell, “address isunreadable” per factory letter. Per Flayderman’s Guide to Antique American Firearms, only approximately 15,375 Triple Locks were manufactured between 1908 and 1915 making this finely built Model desirable to many in thecollector/shooter market.
