SN: S126128 'Pre-Model 26' Vintage large frame double-action revolver chambered in .45 Automatic, circa 1950-1961. Features a blued finish, pinned 6" barrel with serrated rib, 1/8" patridge front sight, adjustable micrometer click rear sight, fluted six-shot cylinder, shrouded ejector rod, .265" serrated trigger, .500" target hammer, square butt N target frame with six groove grip straps, and custom two-piece checkered walnut target grips with thumb rest on the left panel. Serial numbers match on the frame, barrel, cylinder and extractor. Revolver retains approximately 90% of it's original finish showing bright scratches/nicks, a couple dots of surface rust on the cylinder & front sight and a large spot of heavy rust on the hammer spur. Action is smooth with solid lock-up, bore is pristine, and the wood grips are good+ with scratches & small losses. Condition is NRA very good+. ***C&R Firearm***
