Manufactured 1860 to 1868. The top of the barrel rib is marked with the one line address, the cylinder is marked with the 1855,1859 and 1860 patent dates, and the serial number is marked on the butt and stamped on the inside of the right grip panel. The cylinder is marked with British "crown/V" and "crown/GP" proof marks. Blue finish with casehardened hammer and fitted with smooth two-piece varnished rosewood grips. Complete with a leather covered fitted pipe case with a diamond design on the outside and tan velvet lining. There is a small "52" gold embossed label affixed to the lining.

Condition:
Very fine. The revolver retains 60% original blue finish with areas of gray and brown patina. The cylinder has a mottled gray patina with a small amount of very minor pitting on the front edge. The grips are very good with 98% original varnish remaining showing some lower edge wear and scattered minor dings and dents. The markings are clear. The action is fine. The case is fine.
