The top of the barrel rib is stamped with the address and patent dates ending with "REISSUE JULY 25, 1871". The butt is stamped "1874" above the serial number with a butt swivel. The serial number is also stamped on the cylinder, barrel and barrel latch. Front sight has been modified with the blade being a replacement. Fitted with smooth ivory grips.

Condition: Very good. The revolver retains strong traces of original nickel finish in and around the protected areas with the balance a mottled gray patina with some scattered mild pitting. The slightly shrunken grips are very fine with some minor handling marks and a couple small stress cracks near the screw. The ivory has an attractive grain pattern and color. Mechanically fine.
