Smith & Wesson Model 29, 44 magnum cal. Double action revolver with 4” barrel, checkered medallion (coke bottle shaped) grips, early production series with desirable satin lined presentation box with logo andcaliber on lid. Serial # B174107, the revolver shows 98-99% original blue finish with a slight index line on cylinder. Generally crisp overall, 95% plus case hardening on trigger and hammer, excellentbore, fine action. The box shows some storage marks and slight wear. These early Model 29’s are a classic and are rapidly increasing in desirability and value. Est.; $1,750-$3,500.
