Smith & Wesson Model 27-2, .357 Magnum caliber double action revolver showing fine quality and ornate scroll engraving, serial number N757725. Showing factory 4 1/8” barrel, blued finish and target features. This Smith & Wesson is deluxe engraved with almost full coverage in a fine quality scroll pattern that may be factory but no documentation. Beneath the grips are numbers, B 17, B 26 and just 21 which may indicate a factory special order. The revolver shows 90% to 95% original blue that is toned to plum with some minor losses at the high points and edges. About 80% to 90% case hardening remains and the grips show some slight edge wear. Generally very good plus to near fine overall. In our opinion there is more than a 50% chance this revolver was factory deluxe engraved. Est.: $900-$1,800.
