Smith & Wesson Model 2 tip-up spur trigger revolver, .32 cal., 6” octagon barrel, blue finish, rosewood grips, #10002. This gun is in overall uncleaned good condition showing traces of original blue on the top of theleft sideplate and in protected areas; balance shows generalized spots of erosion and pin prick pitting along with a thin band of red rust on the cylinder from poor storage; crisp action, dark bore, visiblebarrel address and patent markings on cylinder, overall good rosewood grips displaying considerable original finish; an honest No. 2 Army that may improve with a careful cleaning and oiling as it’s a goodgun, just stored improperly for decades.
