Smith & Wesson Model 1950 Heavy duty (pre-Model 20) DA revolver, 5-screw, .38 S&W Special cal., 5” barrel, blue finish, checkered wood medallion combat grips, #38026. This gun is in overall good condition showing approx. 60% of an old re-blued finish, good bore, good action, matching serial numbers of frame, cylinder and barrel assembly, grips are worn but overall good; sometimes referred to as the “.38 SuperPolice” or predecessor to the .357 Magnum; approx. 11,000 manufactured between 1930-41.
