Smith & Wesson Model 1917 .45 ACP caliber double action U.S. military issued revolver, serial number 13723 along with its original holster marked G &K dated 1917. This exact revolver was carried by “Glen” Woods who wasan officer in in the U.S. military serving in France during the 1st world war. The pistol is consigned by his daughter who has agreed to write a statement and provide a copy of a photograph of Woods in uniform to thesuccessful buyer. The pistol retains 90% to 95% original blue with some erosion and pinprick pitting just starting from being stored in the accompanying holster. Much of this erosion and surface rust will clean.
