Smith & Wesson Model 10 in .38 special caliber, double action revolver with 4” barrel, blued finish checkered would grips, serial number 58652 on butt and 37636 on inside of frame. This early Model 10 shows50% to 70% original bright blue drifting at the high points and edges from holstering and handling. The barrel shows early markings on each side and the metal surfaces are good with some scattered erosion and lightpitting. The checkered wood grips are also very good. The hammer and trigger show 75% to 85% bright original case hardening. The markings and edges are fairly sharp and the action is good with the bore still bright.Probably made about 1911-12.
