Smith & Wesson M&P U.S. Army Model 1899 DA revolver, .38 Mil. cal., 6” barrel, blue finish, checkered wood grips with military inspector’s cartouches at the top of both grips, #13059 on front grip strap. This gunis in overall excellent condition showing approx. 95% original finish, fine bore, action, markings and grips; majority of original case colors on hammer and trigger; lanyard ring retained; “J.T.T. 1901”(inspector John T. Thompson) on top of left grip; “K.S.M.” on top of right grip (for inspector Kelly S. Morse); K.S.M. stamped on left rear of the frame, “K.S.M”. and “P” proof on underside of barrel in front of thematching serial number to the butt and “K.S.M.” on back of cylinder which is also numbered 13059; only 1,000 manufactured of this Army Model and all were in the S&W serial number range of 13001 thru 14000.
