Smith & Wesson First Model of 1891 Single Shot pistol, .22 cal., 10” barrel, blue finish, checkered black hard rubber extended target grips, #15592 in English wood casing with lined interior, screwdriver, cleaningrod and empty .22 Eley ammo box. The gun is in overall very good + condition showing considerable original blue finish, British proofed, very good to fine bore, crisp action, sharp markings, barrel assemblyslightly loose; grips are good with slight wear and some scratches and a small old loss on the bottom area of the left grip; the case is overall good with some old mars and scratches; lid is somewhat bowed at the front of the lid so as to not close completed; a nice example of the classic S&W single shot target pistol.
