Smith & Wesson First Model New Departure .38 caliber double-action centerfire revolver. Factory style engraved, nickel finish, pearl grips, serial #19551. The revolver shows a “star” and “4-66” number beneath the gripsindicating factory refinish. The revolver shows 95% of this expertly accomplished factory refinish with sharp edges, well defined engraving, and just one area of pitting on the cylinder. Also thetriggerguard and small parts are finely blued with case hardened trigger. There is a slight index line on the cylinder, the barrel address is sharp, the bore slightly rough. Appears original and excellent until closelyexamined by an expert. The engraving is exceptional. Est: $500 - $1,000
