Smith & Wesson 2nd Model hand-ejector, .455 caliber, 6-1/2” barrel, blued finish, checkered wood medallion grips, British military proofed, serial #57579. Revolver remains in original good to very goodcondition showing 75-85% original blue, evenly drifting at high points and edges with nicks, mars, scratches, and an index light in the cylinder consistent with military service and use. The grips also show somedings, mars, scratches, traces of case hardening on hammer and trigger. Bore shows a slight ring. The action is good, some scattered erosion and pinprick pitting. Just the type revolver used by British andcolonial forces during World War I. Est: $350 - $700
