Smith & Wesson #2 army, .32 caliber rimfire single-action revolver, early 2-pin in-frame variation, blue finish, rosewood grips, serial #8792. The revolver shows 60-80% bright original blue drifting on the edgesand cylinder and areas where finish has lifted show some erosion and pitting just starting. The markings are sharp on barrel and cylinder. There is a coating of light oil which will clean and improve the appearance. The varnish rosewood grips are good to very good with some minor nicks, mars, small losses. The hammer shows considerable case hardening, the action is tight. The bore is very good plus and still bright. The barrelis also very tight upon the pin and has seen little use. An above average and early #2 in Civil War production range. Est: $1,500 - $3,000
