Smith & Wesson 1st model double action .44 S&W caliber revolver, factory 5” barrel, nickel finish, pearl grips, serial #54647. Shipped from factory Sept. 11, 1913, and delivered to Fulsom Arms Co. New York City.The revolver shows approx. 85-95% original nickel, some slight polishing, some minor flaking and losses. The triggerguard shows 50% original blue, the hammer and trigger show considerable case hardening. The pearlgrips fit impeccably, and show good iridescent pearl hues with just some minor natural aging. The action is crisp, the bore is very good, the interior shows little use. Shipped in the last year of production andshows late caliber and barrel markings. Est: $1,500 - $3,000
