Smith & Wesson 1st Model 44 DA revolver, .44 cal., 6” barrel, nickel finish, checkered black hard rubber grips, #18043. This gun is in overall fair condition showing approx. 25% original nickel finish, dark bore, action needs work and the pawl also needs adjustment as the cylinder will not close as the cartridge ejecting star does not return flush with the back of the cylinder; side plate has a replacement screw from a prior repair attempt; grips are worn with an old chip out of the bottom rear of the left grip. A good project gun. Est.: $150-$300.
