Smith & Wesson 1st Model 2nd Issue .22 cal., 7 shot revolver, blue and silver finish, rosewood grips, in English style case with English proofs, #30232. The pistol remains in very good original condition with 50-70%original blue on the barrel drifted to traces on the cylinder; 95% + original silver on the brass frame and sharp grips with 90% varnish and minor storage marks and small dings; ejector rod is missing; action good,bore good, markings sharp; William Anderson, Malton engraved on top flat of barrel where Smith & Wesson address generally located (obviously the agent or importer). The case is genuine to the 19th century as is theinterior which both remain in very good condition with slight aging and normal wear. A period screwdriver and rod are also retained. Initials lightly scratched on frame (E-1-1). Est.: $1,100-$2,000.
