The swing out cylinder is marked with the patent information on each flat, the large S&W logo on the right side of the frame and serial number on the butt and barrel flat. Cylinder has the number "18166" (possibly a factory error). Pinned half moon and fixed notch sights with replacement S&W monogram checkered grips (numbered 18784).

Condition: Very fine as period refinished. The revolver retains 98% high polished blue finish with a strong cylinder drag line. The hammer and trigger retain most of the vibrant original case colors. The grips are fine with a few minor handling marks. The checkering is crisp. Mechanically fine.
