Included in this lot we have a set of three framed paintings of water birds with their corresponding stamp originating from the 1980' to 1990's. Each framed piece shows a U.S. stamp that is part of one of the water or game bird collections along with a signed print of the original artwork on the stamp. The first of the pieces shows a group of four Tundra swans on a lake as the sun sets. The piece was painted by Wayne Dowdy for the 10th Anniversary of the waterfowl stamp collection. The second piece shows a Mallard duck hen with six ducklings around her feat as they stand at the edge of a river. The piece shows two stamps along the bottom and has been hand signed by Dave Samuelson and is marked "824/9212". The third and final piece shows a cinnamon teal drake and a blue-winged teal drake flying through cattails. The print is hand numbered and signed by Joe Thronbrugh. All the stamps aside from the second mallard stamp are numbered "29-000824". The prints are set into wooden frames with tan borders around the art. The pieces show good condition overall with some minor wear across the frames. The first frame measures 18" wide by 16 1/2" tall with the art measuring 10 1/4" wide by 7 1/2" tall, the second measures 17" wide by 15 1/2" tall with the art measuring 9 3/4" wide b 7 1/4" tall, and the third measures 17 1/4" wide by 15 3/4" tall with the print measuring 10" wide by 7 1/2" tall.
