Up for bidding in this lot is a Sioux Native American Indian carved catlinite pipe bowl, and wooden beaded pipe stem. The bottom of the bowl is signed with a hand carved name; "Redwing". Ray Redwing worked at the Pipestone National Monument for twenty-two seasons as a pipestone pipe carver. The pipe stem has a nice light color, and is adorned with medium cut tanned hide fringe, and Red and Gold colored beads. The pipe and stem are in very good condition. Together, the pipe measures 19" long, 1.5" wide at the thickest part of the stem, and 2.5" tall from the bottom of the bowl to the top.
