Included in this lot we have a set of signed Alaskan Inuit walrus teeth scrimshaw key ring. The first of the pair shows a etched scrimshaw design of a cabin or hut on stilts at the edge of a lake with trees and rocks around the base. The piece is signed across the back by "Howard Weyahok" who is known for his wonderful scrimshaw carvings. The second piece shows a larger tooth with the start of a scrimshaw etching, but was not finished. The pieces are attached by a brass beaded chain used for holding keys or other devices. The pair shows good condition overall with no signs of wear. The larger tooth measures 1 3/4" long by 3/4" wide and 1/2" thick, the second piece measures just under 1 1/2" long by 5/8" wide and 1/2" thick.
