Sharps New Model 1863 Civil War era percussion carbine, .52 caliber, serial #96606. The carbine shows traces of original blue and case hardening drifting to a natural patina. Some light erosion and pinprickpitting just starting. The stocks are good with faint outline of cartouche beneath saddle ring bar, some dings, mars, scratches, a few gouges, but generally good. Action is crisp, bore bright and near excellent.Priming device also retained. Dr. Sterling Fenn collection. Est: $1,750 - $2,500
