Sharps Model 1877 single shot target rifle, .45 cal., 34” round barrel, blue and case hardened finish, checkered deluxe wood stocks, #160278. This gun is in overall very good condition as professionally restored;barrel number and receiver number are matching, majority of re-blue finish on barrel is present with beautifully-accomplished re-case hardening to the receiver, side plate, hammer and lever,very good bore, crisp action, “Old Reliable” and Bridgeport barrel address visible; wood stocks have been expertly re-finished; single trigger is checkered; front sight is an adjustable spirit level that shows age; theadjustable vernier tang sight appears to be a modern replacement. Approximately 100 of this rifle, commonly known as “The English Model”, were manufactured between 1877 and 1878 and produced for long range target orCreedmoor event shooting competitions; beautifully restored. Checkout Date & Times: You may checkout during the auction each day and at our business location after the auction. We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Preview on October 27th 7 28th 9:00 to 11:00 am each day.

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
