Sharps Model 1855 British slant breech saddle ring carbine, Maynard primer mechanism, British proofed, brass patchbox and butt plate, .577 caliber percussion, 19” barrel, blue finish, wood stocks, #24238. This gun is in overall very good condition showing scattered blue finish and a dark patina on metal surfaces, very good bore, action and markings; four leaf rear sight; overall good to very good wood stocks with some scatteredwear and old mars and a very well accomplished small repair to the toe area of the butt stock; approx. 6,000 manufactured between 1855 and 1857. Est.: $2,000-$4,000.

We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Preview on October 27th 7 28th 9:00 to 11:00 am each day.

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
