Terry Redlin Print “Sharing the Solitude”
This matted and framed painting by Terry Redlin is signed and numbered #245/2400. This classic Redlin print was painted in 1987 and is part of a collection from the late Cook Schiavone, originator of AutumnWood Outfitters and now being donated by his wife, Laurie. In this idyllic scene the artist invites us to share, along with the cabin inhabitants and their camping visitors, one of those rare nights in the deep woods. The high moon has momentarily broken out from the clouds, turning the snowy landscape to bright day. The surrounding silence provides, for those of contemplative nature, a perfect setting for the primitive message contained in the flickering campfire. Measures 39-1/2” x 28” with double matting and frame.
