Sergeants 3 Sgt. Chip Deal (Dean Martin) Boots Costume
Frank Sinatra did all he could to keep his "Rat Pack" together, both in Las Vegas, and in making motion pictures. One of the best of their films was "Sergeants 3" (1962), directed by legendary director John Sturges, (and co-produced by Sinatra). Sturges knew a thing or two about mounting a western, having directed many of his own, including the greatest western of all time: "The Magnificent Seven". In this Rat Park incarnation the "boys" (Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Joey Bishop, Sammy David, Jr., and Peter Lawford), are brawling and womanizing in 1870. These are Dean Martin's screen used black US Cavalry stove top boots from the movie. There is a small hole in the right boot which was damaged during the infamous whore-house brawl near the beginning of the movie. The boots were given to a friend and crew member on the movie by Dean Martin at Paramount Studios right after the movie completed production. Comes with a COA from the crew member who received the boots.
