Scarce and desirable high grade Aya Model 37 Super O/U 12 gauge shotgun with 2 sets of barrels and highly engraved full side locks with ejectors and single triggers made for Lela Franks. The gun shows nicely engravedscenes of game birds on both locks that are deeply cut and surrounded by fine scroll. The bottom of the frame is gold inlaid “Carola Mandel”. The action is French gray or bright finished and the barrels are blued. The No. 1 barrel measures 27-1/2” in length, choked .33 about improved modified and lower barrel is choked .08 about skeet. The second barrel measures 29-1/2” and is choked .53 extra full and .36 full. Thestock measures 12-1/8 “to the end of the wood and 13-3/8” to the end of the thick pad with 2 spacers. The stock shows a 1-1/4” drop at the heel and a 1-3/8” drop at the comb with a 1/8” cast at the heel and high rise comb.The barrels show ventilated ribs and 95% plus original finish with frame near excellent. The stocks are good with repair and refinishing and replacement of comb which is well done. The case is in good condition
