Produced for the 1st Marine Division and the 1st and 2nd Marine Raider Battalions. 7 1/8 inch long, double edged spear point blade, with an etched "USMC" banner and makers marks on one side. Zinc alloy checkered grip and oval guard, engraved on the top with "U.S.M.C.R.", "H.A. ORNSTEIN", a scroll design, palm tree and a 4-leaf clover. With a brown leather reproduction sheath with metal reinforcement plates and throat staples.

Condition: Fine overall, blade has a mixture of gray patina on it with crisp edges. The grip is excellent with minor handling marks. The markings are faint but legible. The modern reproduction sheath is excellent with minor scratches and handling marks.
