The Model 21 was introduced in 1931 and proved itself to be strong and reliable with excellent quality. This Trap Grade shotgun has a brass bead front and steel mid bead sights on the matte concave solid rib, choke full/full and 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors. The left barrel is marked at the rear "MODEL 21--WINCHESTER--/--TRADE MARK--- 12 GAUGE 2 3/4", the bottoms are marked "WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL" and "FULL" and the flats are marked with the Winchester oval proof and matching serial number. The water table is marked with the oval proof on the right side and the model designation and address on the left side. The trigger plate is marked "TRAP". Has a single selective trigger and tang mounted safety. Mounted on a nicely figured multi-point checkered walnut beavertail forearm and straight grip stock with leather covered recoil pad. Length of pull is 14 inches. The shotgun is accompanied by an email from Cody Firearms Research verifying the serial number, Trap Grade, that it was manufactured 9/5/51 (for stock), gauge, selective trigger, ejector, manual safety, chokes, barrel length, straight grip stock with a Winchester recoil pad, stock dimensions (length of pull 13 3/4") and that it was shipped on 2/5/1953. The shotgun also comes with the original hanging tags.
