Made circa 1858-1864 by W.W. Marston. Fixed sights with "THE UNION ARMS Co" double stamped on top of the barrel, and "S" above the serial number on the frame and on the left side of the trigger. Brass trigger guard set into an iron base plate, with a tapered cylinder pin retainer. Smooth two piece grips.

Condition: Good, with a bright gray patina overall, mild dings and pitting. The brass shows a fine aged patina. Undersized grips are fair, with a notch taken out of each side and mild chipping and pressure dents. Mechanically very good.
