Part of the scarce batch of M1 Carbines marked un-quality (think of the name) produced by Quality Hardware using receivers supplied by the Union Switch and Signal Company. Blade and two leaf notch sights, with the Underwood barrel dated "2-44" and the "UN-QUALITY" stamp behind the sights. Equipped with a Type I barrel band, flat bolt, stamped trigger guard, button safety and "EP-Q" magazine catch. High-wood stock with 2-rivet handguard, a green canvas sling, Ordnance cartouche on the buttstock, "O-RMC" stamped in the sling cut, and a checkered buttplate.

Condition: Arsenal refurbished, then subsequently restored to World War II specifications, showing 98% of the parkerization with light handling marks overall. Stock is very fine as re-oiled, with mild pressure dents. Mechanically excellent. Un-quality M1's are highly desirable and usually missing from most collections.
