This is a desirable example of an Saginaw Carbine from the early contract serial range that is known as the "S" (prime) "G" (prime) variation (these followed the Irwin Pedersen contract). Blade front and two-leaf rear sights, with a "9-43" Underwood barrel, Type I band, flat bolt, milled trigger guard, "E-S'G'" button safety and "B-IP" magazine catch. High wood stock, with 2-rivet handguard, "SG" and Ordnance cartouches on right buttstock, oval oiler cut and a green canvas sling.

Condition: Excellent, with 98% of the original parkerized finish, showing a gray and brown patina on the barrel, and light spotting and handling marks overall. Stock is excellent, with mild dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
